My company has created a Green engineering service, process, and product in the 21st century to help reduce pollution. The company was introduce by Carlos Morales and its total purpose is to concentrate in Total Quality Management and green engineering.

The objective of the project is to make a safer environment to everyone to live. Our purpose is to create a plastice rim for vehicles, motorcycles, and bicycles. The company is working together with four companies to product our service, process and product. Introduces and teaches customer what can be done when creating green service, process and product.

There are three methodologies used in the developing of my company such Waterfall, prototyping and spiral. Look at diagram bellow.

1. “The waterfall model is a sequential development process, in which development is seen as flowing steadily downwards (like a waterfall) through the phases of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing (validation), integration, and maintenance”. (1)

Principles of the waterfall model:

First, the project is divided into phases. Second planning, time schedules, target dates and budget are run at the same time.

2. Prototyping is activities develop during the creation process.

Basic principles of prototyping are:

 complete development methodology  breaking a project into smaller segments  User is involved throughout the process, which increases the likelihood of user acceptance of the final implementation.  modification process  understanding of business problem 3. The spiral model is a process of design and prototyping to combine advantages of top-down and bottom-up concepts.

Basic principle:

 minimizing project risk  cycle progression through the same sequence of steps  Four basic quadrants: determine objectives, alternatives, and constraints of the iteration, Evaluate alternatives, Identify and resolve risks, develop and verify deliverables from the iteration and plan the next iteration.

Deliver to vendors IRphotonics product My company is going to work on creating a plastic rim to eliminate the old steel and aluminum rims on vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles. First, Service emphasize in compensating tenants, collection of garbage and procedures. The service motivates tenants to gather and collect plastic material from their homes such as plastic bottles, computers, chairs, etc. by compensating there effort. The second step, process provides the design, creation and testing of the plastic rim. In this process the product is design using Auto Cad, Pro e or IQ series Software. Using software to design the rim allows easier modification in size, color, shape and material. Also, using software provides benefit to our process because saves company money by using less material such paper, paint, pencils, etc. During the process our company uses special plastic equipments to create our design product and testing. Last, the final product ready to be advertised and retailed to customers. Advertising our product will consist of distributing flyers, commercials, word of mouth and sales man.

There are four companies that will collaborate with my company such as Dukane,

Carrera, Icure and Brickadoo. Each company plays an important role in the development of my service, process and product. Dukane provides intelligent assembly solutions such as welding machines and software for companies that have interest in the plastic industry.

The machine capabilities allow a design part to be created using plastic material. Carrera expertise in the Automobile Industries could help my company service, process and product to be guided in the right direction such as providing testing, designs, safetiness, advertisement, etc. IRphotonics new product, Icure, a thermal spot curing system is a good product for my company because it provides faster soldering and repair on plastic or electric board. Icure is an excellent product if you own a plastic rim or any other plastic material products due to its high ultrasonic system. Brickadoo, a leading designer using blocks, will help my company to create a 3D model of the manufacturing facility. The facility will provide three floors consisting in all three focuses that my company is concentrating such as service, process and final product.

Summary (i.e. what has been achieved)

The company has achieved a service, process and product that will do good for the environment and has eliminated the use of steel and aluminum. It will help the Automobile Industries that plastice material can be use to make vehicles weight less for better fuel economy and less pollution. References:
