TREASURER’S REPORT – Brandy Lee Brandy presented the current treasurer’s report with the following totals: Artist in Residence/Art Program (dedicated funds)...... $7,768.06 General funds...... $11,078.96

PRESIDENT – Roz Hunt 1) OLD BUSINESS a) Mosaics Update i) No update

2) NEW BUSINESS a) Cookie Dough Fundraiser i) Cookie dough raised approximately $2500 – final totals are NOT in. ii) Brandy raised concern about the delivery date of November 18, 2009. She will double check with our fundraising contact regarding a final date time and communicate via email. iii) ADDENDUM: After speaking with the fundraising contact, he assured us that all deliveries would be made on November 18. b) Booster Policy Review (1) Subcommittee still to meet. c) School Year Budget i) Roz took an initial pass at our school year budget. ii) Approximately $6,250 will be needed to complete this year’s planned projects/events. d) Family Movie Night i) It was discussed that the next Family Movie Night could happen before Christmas with a Christmas-themed movie. ii) The movie will be Polar Express. iii) The event will be free. iv) We will start the evening earlier and provide pizza, as well as the concessions from last time. v) Roz will work on approval, cafeteria reservation, communication, and speakers. vi) Brandi will work on finding a screen. vii) Communication should go out on Friday, December 4. Posters should also be put up by Friday, December 4. viii)Doors open at 5:30 with movie starting at 6:00 p.m. e) Carnival i) Discussion was started regarding our spring carnival. It was decided to ask for themes, which will be sent out to the student body with a request for theme ideas. ii) Poster contest was discussed and agreed to for the weeks before carnival. iii) Using carnival game tickets as prizes in the classroom was also discussed and tabled for further discussion and process development. iv) Subcommittee creation with discussed with the following subcommittees and subcommittee chairs agreed upon: (1) Silent Auction – Roz (2) Food – Brandy Lee (3) Raffle – Brandi Cooley (4) Games/Volunteers – TBD (5) Game prizes – April Page 3 Meeting Date: November 12, 2009

v) Letters for raffle and silent auction prizes will be sent out the first of December to local businesses. Brandi Cooley will put the letters together and send out. f) Getting some extra Winchester T-Shirts to Ms. Trevisol was discussed. g) After School Clubs i) It was decided to send a flyer to the student body to see if any parents or parent contacts were interested in heading after school clubs, supported by Booster Club. ii) Brandi Cooley will put together the flyer to go home before Christmas Break.

ADDENDUM Winchester Families in Need Holiday Contributions  It was discussed via email whether Booster Club would like to be involved in donating money or food for local Winchester family’s in need for the holidays.  Multiple options were discussed via email, from providing food to providing money.  Motion was made to offer $500 from the general Booster Club fund to donate to Winchester families in need for the holidays via Ms. Trevisol. Motion was seconded and approved as is.
