STRATEGIC PLANNING

 Developed an Information Technology Strategic Plan for a large, multi-entity healthcare organization. Project scope included strategic planning for clinical information, clinical decision support, and home health care.  Assisted in the development of an information technology and clinical computing strategy for an evolving integrated delivery system.  Developed and executed plan for providing physician information technology services to hospital aligned, multi-specialty physician practices.  Developed strategic information technology plan for emerging integrated delivery systems. SYSTEM SELECTION

 Assisted in numerous home healthcare system selection projects.  Managed information system contract negotiation for numerous hospital and homecare organizations.  Managed information system selection process for numerous hospitals and medical centers.  Participated in preparation of a financial system Request for Proposal, system evaluation, and vendor selection process at a 350-bed hospital.

SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION

 Managed implementation of Gerber Alley’s Precision Alternative hospital information system in a 200-bed hospital.

INTERIM MANAGEMENT

 Managed numerous SMS Invision RCO implementation at 250-bed facility. Responsibilities included: . Developed strategic information technology plan for 500-bed tertiary care hospital. The strategic plan included processions for the formation of a healthcare provider alliance; . Implemented Patient Management, Clinical, Patient Accounting, and General Accounting applications; . Managed and allocated Information Systems Resources; . Developed and managed implementation workplan; . Reconciled implementation budget; . Developed detailed data file conversion specifications; . Development network and systems integration strategy; . Developed interface strategy and specifications; . Planned and executed systems conversion; and . Managed vendor.  Assisted in the evaluation of data processing systems and system planning for a 450- bed hospital.  Prepared procedures for multiple user departments in conjunction with a Patient Care system installation.
