M&Ms Marshmallows Raisons Chocolate Chips Pretzels Chex Cherrios

M&Ms- They’re not only our chapter’s food, but they represent the members. The different colors represent the diversity between everyone in BBYO and in our chapter. Every one seems different but that’s what makes our chapter so sweet. We’re all different on the outside, but on the inside everyone is the same.

Marshmallows- Represent the sisterhood in BBG and in our chapter. It’s the most important aspect of all programs and what brings us all together as one. The soft and cushiony texture represents the comfort we feel with each other.

Raisons- Represent the burnt out members. They are all shriveled up and think they are done with their BBYO career. However, when they come to a program and are thrown into the “mix” of things again, they find themselves happier than ever and come back to life.

Chocolate Chips- Represent the newer members. They are itty bitty, extremely sweet, and may be apprehensive at programs or events. They blend in with everyone else and don’t see their own potential. But when they come to a program, the after taste is so strong and sweet, they keep coming back for more.

Pretzels- They are the leaders of the mix. Take Board for example, they may seem salty at first, but they are really no different than everyone else. They make the chapter thrive and look up to and rely on other members just as much as other depend on them.

Chex- Oh, those AZAs. They are confusing and you can’t really understand them. They are a big part of BBYO for we are all in this together. They’re nice to look, most of them at least. Make sure you bite into a sweet one though! But always remember sisters before misters.

Cherrios- Represents the circle of life as a BBG. Shy 8th graders join the chapter, becoming freshmen they gain a little more respect from the members, as a sophomore they step up and take leadership roles, as the progress into their junior year they remain active and help out regionally. Many seniors get burnt out, however the ones who remain active are the ones who inspire younger girls and make a difference. They pass on their life to others and they cycle continues on. Book
