The Jeanne Porter Scholarship Fund was established in 2014 as an opportunity for women to receive financial assistance with WiBN educational opportunities (i.e. conference, entrepreneur group or mentoring program).

Monies for the Fund are accrued through solicited donations, both personal and corporate, as well as large and small fundraising events. To apply for a scholarship, submit the appropriate materials. We will review all applications, schedule interviews and submit materials to our fund committee for review and final decision. Access our Events* page to learn about our fabulous fundraising events. Qualifications Applicants for the scholarship must fulfill the following criteria:  Female, residing in the Miami Valley  Be active in community service  Be in need of financial aid

Education Scholarship Application Candidates applying for the scholarship must submit a complete application package, which includes the following items:  Correctly filled out application form;  A short letter describing your interests, educational/professional development intentions and what this scholarship award would do for you;  A letter of recommendation from someone in the community who knows you through community service or work; and  A list of your awards/honors and community service/work activities.

Guidelines for Scholarship Recipients  Please complete the required information. You will be notified via mail and/or e-mail once your scholarship has been awarded.  Evaluation of all applications and selection of the award recipient(s) will be made by the Jeanne Porter Scholarship Fund committee.  Incomplete applications shall be given no recognition or response.
