Lost Android Mobile gives you the following powers:

 Lock/Unlock Android

 Make your mobile ring to find it, even when it is in silent mode.

 Delete all your personal data like Contacts, Messages, Call Logs, Photos, Videos, Audio from your mobile.

 Take snapshot using Front or Rear Camera and get it to mail.

 Get back up of all the Contacts via SMS.

 Make force call to listen to surrounding sound.

 Get GPS and Network Location

 Get alert on every SIM replacement.

 Set Secret PASSCODE - Set a secret PIN in the launcher screen. Remember the PIN to control the device remotely.

Create a 4 digit PIN, confirm it and save it. This PIN will be used for any future access. Don’t forget or disclose the PIN to others. In order to launch the app, please dial *#*#pin#*#*.

All credentials along with the pin are being sent to the user’s registered email id. So if in any case user forgets the pin, user can get it from the email. But if the user somehow deletes the mail, then a SMS requesting the pin can be sent to the lost device which in return sends the pin to the alternative number and the registered email id.

 Save Email Address - Save Email Address in the launcher screen. SIM Change alert, Backup of contact, call logs, messages and hidden snap shot will be sent to this email address.

For further references the updated Email ID will be used, i.e. SIM Change alert, Backup of contact, call logs, messages and hidden snap shot will be sent to this updated email address .

 Save Alternative Mobile No. - Save alternative mobile numbers in the launcher screen. In case of changing the SIM card of the mobile, without your interaction, will notify to those preset numbers.

User is also given the permission to change the Alternative Number. For further references the changed Alternative Number will be used.

 Enable Device Protection – The device protection gets enabled by clicking the Enable Device Protection.

 Confirmation mail – A confirmation mail with the credentials can be sent to the user after all the settings is completed.

Disable Power Button on Lock Screen – If checked, power key will not work when device is locked. In order to make this feature work user needs to send a SMS to the lost device.

 For locking the device: For locking the device user needs to send the SMS PIN LOCK For example: 9903 LOCK  For unlocking the device: For locking the device user needs to send the SMS PIN UNLOCK For example: 9903 UNLOCK

Record Audio Remotely – If checked, LAM (Lost Android Mobile) gets the permission to record audio and send through mail. For performing this task user needs to send a SMS to the lost device. The SMS contains the command: PIN AUDIO For example: 9903 AUDIO **With this command an audio is recorded for 10secs and then the recorded audio is emailed to the saved email address.

Remotely Factory Reset the Device – If checked, LAM (Lost Android Mobile) gets the permission to remotely factory reset the device. For performing this task user needs to send a SMS to the lost device. The SMS contains the command: PIN WIPE For example: 9903 WIPE **After this command is performed, no other functions will work.

Remotely Toggle Mobile Data – If checked, LAM (Lost Android Mobile) gets the permission to remotely enable/disable the device data. For performing this task user needs to send a SMS to the lost device. The SMS contains the command: PIN DATAON/DATAOFF For example: 9903 DATAON or 9903 DATAOFF ** This feature is available till Kitkat version. Upper versions of Android will not support this feature.

Use My Registered Email ID – If checked, the registered email id of the device will be used for communication. That is, if the user somehow misses to save the email id in the app, then the email id that is already registered with the device is used for any type of communications.

Get a particular contact – With LAM (Lost Android Mobile) user can get number associated with a particular contact. For getting the number user just needs to send to the device in which LAC is already installed. The SMS contains the command: PIN NUMBER . For example: 9903 NUMBER John

Force Call – With LAM (Lost Android Mobile) user gets the feature of forcedly calling the lost device with the help of a simple SMS. The SMS contains the command: PIN CALL For example: 9903 CALL With this command the user will be able to make a call from another device to the lost device. As soon as the lost device gets the SMS command, it makes a call to another device so that user can hear the surrounding.

Ring your device – Often it happens that the user keeps the phone in one place and forgets it and if the phone is in silent mode then it can be a cause of worry for the user. But with LAM (Lost Android Mobile) this problem is also solved. The user can make the phone ring with a loud noise ignoring the silent mode by sending a SMS. The SMS contains the command: PIN RING For example: 9903 RING

Get device related information – LAM (Lost Android Mobile) lets the user to get device related information like battery charge left, mobile data on/off, Wi-Fi on/off and gps on/off through SMS and also through email. The SMS contains the command: PIN STATUS

Get GPS Location – With the other device related informations, LAM (Lost Android Mobile) also lets the user to get the GPS location through SMS so that user might be able to track the lost device. The SMS command contains: PIN GPS For example: 9903 GPS With this command user gets the current GPS location (latitude & longitude) if Location Service is enabled else sends Network location via mail and SMS.

Show a custom message – With LAM (Lost Android Mobile) user can show a custom message in the lost device through a SMS. The SMS contains the command: PIN SHOW For example: 9903 SHOW If found please call 9876542123 With this command user can show a message dialog for 30 seconds in the lost device’s screen.

Take backup – LAM (Lost Android Mobile) provides the facility of backing up user’s data like contacts, messages and call logs through email by sending a SMS. The SMS contains the command: PIN BACKUP For example: 9903 BACKUP

Delete personal data – In order to provide security to the user’s data, LAM (Lost Android Mobile) gives user the feature of deleting personal data like contacts and call logs by sending a SMS. The SMS command contains: PIN DEL For example: 9903 DEL

Take a snapshot – LAM (Lost Android Mobile) provides a unique feature of taking a snapshot of the lost device’s surrounding and get it in mail by sending a SMS.
