Dear Sir, Swimming Federation of India will organize 14th National Masters Championships-2017,to be held on 30th & 31st October 2017( Diving) at Kensigton Swimming Pool,Ulsoor,Bangalore and DYSS Swimming Pool, Chamundi Stadium, MYSORE 570010 from 1stTO 3rdNOVEMBER 2017(Swimming).We trust you will give the widest publicity to this unique competition Please spread it throughout your unit to all Clubs and interested participants. You may use photocopies of Entry & Registration Forms for this purpose. The Details of the Events for swimming are as under;  Minimum Age Limit: 25 years and above  Age Determining Date: The actual Age of the competitor as at 31st December 2017.  Age Groups: Individual Events: 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Above. Relay Events: based on total Age of the team members in whole years. 100-119, 120-159, 160-199, 200-239, 240-279, 280-319, 320-359.  Proof of age: Passport, Driving license, Birth Date Certificate in English to be attached.  Meeting: Meeting will be held on 31ST OCTOBER 2017 at 05:00 p.m.at the DYSS Swimming Pool,Maysorefor giving Competition program and other information. Events will Start on 1stNovember 2017 from 08:00 A M onwards. and will continue upto 3rdNovember 2017. Registration of swimmer must complete by 31st October 2017 evening 6.00P.M.  Training Provision: The pool will be available on 31st October 2017 for training practice.On competition days the training will be 45 minutes before the start of the event and for 1 hour after the end of the competition. CompetitionVenue: DYSS Swimming Pool, Chamundi Stadium, MYSORE 570010. Entry Restrictions: Swimmer may enter in maximum 4 Individual events and 2 Relays.  Relay Entry: Only team entry from each club/unit will be accepted.  Competition note: All start will be “over the head”. The ONE START rule will apply for all swimming events.  Pre-seeding: As per FINA masters rule.  Eligibility: Masters’ swimmers are eligible to enter in their respective age groups only. Swimmers who have participated in National Aquatic championships during 2014, 2015 AND 2016 are not eligible to enter.  Reporting: It is the responsibility of each swimmer to report to clerk of the course at marshalling area at least 15 minutes prior to their designated race.  FOR DIVING EVENTS : Held on 30th & 31st October 2017 from 09.00 A.M. onwards. Registration of Diver must complete on 29th October 2017 by evening 6.00P.M.  DIVING EVENT VENUE : Kensigton Swimming Pool, Ulsoor, Bangalore  Diving events & Age Group for Men and Women with Total Number of required Dives for 1mt & 3mt Spring Board & Platform Diving from 5mt, 7.5 or 10mt.  Age Group : 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Above.  Number of Dives to perform : Spring Board High Board  Age Group 25 to 49 7(Men) 6 ( Women) 6(Men) 6(Women) 50 to 69 6(Men) 5 ( Women) 5(Men) 5(Women) 70 to 79 5(Men) 4( Women) 4(Men) 4(Women) 80 and above 4(Men) 3( Women) 3(Men) 3(Women)  Divers can freely choose the dives from Dive Table given in FINA Hand Book. The only requirement is that age Group 25 to 69 years each dive performed has different dive number.  In the Age Group 70 up to 80 and above dives with same number can be repeated if performed in a different position ( Straight , Pike , Tuck , or Free Position)  In case of 2 failed dives by Diver,Winner/ Participation certificate will not be awarded.  Medals: 1st to 3rd place in each event and age groups will be presented to Winner.  Certificates: 1st to 3rd place in each event and age groups. Participation certificate will be given to all participants who enter in and complete the race / all the dives.  Entry and Registration fees: Registration fees Rs.100/. per participant Entry fee Rs. 50/. per event per head and Relay team Rs. 200/=. per team. Late entry will be accepted up to 20TH OCTOBER 2017 on payment of DOUBLE FEES (Including Registration fees) in Swimming only.  Last Date: Last date for submitting the entry is 15thOctober 2017.  Reporting Date at BANGALORE / MAYSORE: BANGALORE – 29TH October 2017 before 4.00P.M. at venue MAYSORE – 31st October 2017 before 4.00 P.M. at venue No entry form and registration form will be accepted without entry fee and Birth Date certificate from competent authority. Entry will be accepted only if it is counter signed by secretary of affiliated units of SFI. Kindly send the Fees by D.D in favour of KARNATAKA SWIMMING ASSOCIATION, PAYABLE AT BANGALORE.
