Aims of the Programme To equip students with practical and analytical skills and knowledge of journalism production in international settings and contexts.

A1. Identify, compare and interpret the histories, developments, organisation and current situations of journalism principles, policies, production, practices and consumption in a range of international settings and contexts. Personal Development Planning Personal development planning is at the heart of the course development. The modular programme allows for the development of transferrable skills in addition to subject-specific skills. Students will be encouraged to reflect on their own practice. They will also develop a critical awareness of the changing media landscape and develop their own skills portfolio with the aim of exploiting the opportunities available. . 16.
