WK Kellogg Foundation www.wkkf.org Most grants are awarded in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, and six southern Africa countries including Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe.

Aga Khan Foundation www.akdn.org Its mission is to develop and promote creative solutions to problems that impede social development, primarily in Asia and East Africa. Major areas of focus are health, education, rural development and NGO enhancement.

Toyota Environmental Grants www.toyota.co.jp/en/toyota-ecogrant The grant provides support for projects worldwide aiming at “social investment for sustainable development.” It particularly focuses on environmental technology and environmental education.

Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme www.undp.org/sgp SGP supports activities of non-governmental and community-based organizations in 73 developing countries. See their website for a full list of participating countries.

International Community Foundation www.icfdn.org ICF is committed to fostering lasting philanthropy to benefit needy communities and non-profit organizations throughout the Americas and Asia with an emphasis in Baja California and Mexico.

Global Greengrants Fund www.greengrants.org The fund makes small grants to grassroots groups around the world working to help people protect the environment, live sustainably, preserve biodiversity and gain a voice for the future.

Commonwealth Foundation www.commonwealthfoundation.com The Foundation's grants enable people from the Commonwealth to participate in short training courses, conferences and study visits in other Commonwealth countries. The Foundation's main areas of interest are poverty eradication, good governance, and sustainable development.

Aloca Foundation www.alcoa.com/global/en/community/info_page/foundation.asp The Alcoa Foundation supports global and local needs in areas including conservation and sustainability, global education and workplace skills, business and community partnerships, and safe/healthy children and families. Priority is given to programs and organisations in or near communities where Alcoa plants/offices are located.
