Dear Parents of Windrush Class

Swimming lessons will continue for your child during Term 3 starting Tuesday 13 th January. The lessons will be held at Carterton Leisure Centre starting at 9.30 a.m.

The dates for term 3 are as follows:-

13th January 20th January 27th January 3rd February 10th February

We ask that all parents pay a voluntary contribution towards the cost of transport. The cost of each session is £2.85 per child per session (£14.25). However, we missed two swimming lessons in term 1 so the charge for this term is for 3 sessions totalling £8.55 for those parents who did not reduce their payment last term. Please make cheques payable to OCC.

Please note that boys are only allowed to wear trunks not beach shorts, and for girls only one piece costumes are acceptable. Swim hats are compulsory for all children. Swimming hats are available from school at a cost of £1 each. Children are not permitted to wear goggles unless you give specific permission below. Earrings are not permitted under any circumstances – this is a pool rule.

If your child has a verucca, it needs to be covered with a waterproof plaster or verucca sock.

(Cheques made payable to OCC).  I give my child permission to wear goggles when swimming. I will provide goggles that meet the safety standard BS5883 and ensure they fit correctly and that my child knows how to put them on safely.
