Wolfpack Lacrosse Meeting – August 14, 2013

All in attendance: Scott Seigle, Steve McGarvey, Angie Fulfer, Jennifer Gruber, Steve Hammel, Kyle McGill, Lynn Sanders

Equipment Managers Report: Presented for J.C. Coble

*Issues with getting pinnies returned.

*We need to get another lock on the shed due to issues with shed not being locked and keys not being returned.

*Steve Hammel will get another lock to put on the equipment shed.

Treasurers Report: Steve Hammel

*We are still having issues with the cost of mowing at the Chestnut Ridge field. Steve is continuing to address the raise in cost to determine what exactly we are paying for each month.

Field Manager: Potential interest from Brad Hake to manage the fields.

Director of Boys Lacrosse: Presented by Steve McGarvey *Call from Twin Ponds as a possibility to use again for winter lacrosse practice.

*Pricing information in regards to the new indoor fields is being reviewed to determine where we will conduct indoor practices.

*Possible change from Friday nights to Sunday afternoons/nights.

*Troy Swartz needs to lockdown his indoor times and day of the week for his practice place and where it is located. (6 week stretch)

Director of Girls Lacrosse: Angie Fulfer

*Girl’s clinics at Chestnut Ridge are going well. We are having great participation.

*Try outs in September for the Black Dog traveling team. *Goalie gear needs to be replaced or upgraded.

*Girls uniforms – Angie Fulfer is in charge of ordering the girls uniforms.

*We need to change who does the pictures for team photos.

Fundraiser Report: Lynn Sanders

*Lynn Sanders will look into selling First Aid Kits as a fundraiser.

*Sportwear as a fundraiser – myprepsportswear.com

Vice Presidents Report: Kylie McGill

*Uniforms – Kyle McGill will look into getting pricing for new reversible uniforms including graphics. (No discount for quantity)

*We could give $25.00 to each player that would go towards the purchase of new uniforms.

Presidents Report: Steve McGarvey

*Steve McGarvey was approached about our organization combining with NYFC (Northern York Football and Cheer).

*Steve McGarvey made a motion that we look into forming a Northern York Recreational Organization. (possibly including NYFC)

*Steve McGarvey made a motion to change our mascot from Wolfpack to the Northern Polar Bears under the same club name of Northern York Lacrosse Club. The colors will change from Red and White to Purple and White. Angie Fulfer seconded the motion and all board members unanimously voted yes. It will take effect immediately.

Registration: *Angie Fulfer stated she would take charge of registration. Kyle McGill made a motion to approve and Lynn Sanders seconded the motion. Motion approved.

- List what the money from registration is used for on the registration form.

- Steve Hammel motioned that registration cost be $175.00 (uniform cost included). Lynn Sanders seconded the motion. Motion approved.

- Registration will be at the discounted rate of $165.00 before Sunday, November 10, 2013.

- Registration completed between November 10th and December 15th will be $175.00.

- Registration Deadline will be December 15, 2013.

- Lynn Sanders is in charge of reserving the barn at Logan Park for registration. Choose a weekday and weekend date. Possible dates – October date for during the week and Sunday, November 3 for a weekend date.

- The meeting was motioned to be adjourned by Kyle McGill and was seconded by Steve Hammel.
