1. Pre-Power Checks

a. Check that the input feeder (and the bypass feeder, if dual-input) current capacity matches the requirement of the system. Refer to the Installation manual for proper feeder sizing. Have the customer set the magnetic trip and GFI setting(s) to maximum (if applicable). Record the recommended and actual feeder sizes.

2. Startup

a. Using the instructions in Liebert Online, perform power supply checks and record the voltages.

b. Record the revision of firmware from the display for the DSP and Monitor boards.

4. Post – Startup

1. Refer LOL Paramset tables to confirm all UPS firmware are current release, if not shut down the UPS. Carry out LOL flash update procedure for NXe/NXf. Once completed check UPS operation. Enter updated firmware revision.

Restart the UPS each time an option is installed, to check that it is operating properly. List all options that are present in the unit. 2 Shut down allow voltages to discharge and check then reinstall all sheet metal barriers that were removed in step 8.1.7. Check that no holes or gaps are present inside the UPS cabinet that could interfere with proper airflow for component cooling (examples include conduit holes not filled, and gaps between the access panels and the frame). 3 Clean the exterior of the UPS, battery cabinet(s), maintenance bypass cabinet, and Distribution Panel (if CLIENT

applicable) to remove any dust or foreign material. 4 If load can be applied check all voltages and currents using software to match measured readings with test meter.
