Full Moon Hike on 8/1 Discussed safety issues and brainstormed ideas. It was voted unanimously to co-sponsor this event with the following conditions: no alcohol, safety precautions near ledge; fire safety; trash collection at the end; parking – Jen plans to encourage car-pooling and is even considering a shuttle from Town for those who plan to stay over. Will also provide each participant with a waiver form to sign. The plan is to hike up at 3, enjoy music and food and then encourage those who are not staying over to leave before dark. Each person will be asked to bring a flashlight or head lamp. BCC is considering placing a fire extinguisher at the cabin. Suggested even a bucket of water to have on hand.

Nancy will request being on the Selectboard agenda for June 11th to share info about the event; she and Jen will attend.
