Basic website maintenance. Create events on Mattatuck Museum’s Facebook page, Twitter account and blog, as well as interact with followers. Document various events at the Mattatuck Museum, by video and still photography, as needed. Specific Skills/Requirements : Prefer candidates with some communications background, and some experience in online marketing and comfortable in web-based applications. Specific Dates: throughout the year Hours/Days per week: 10 hours per week Curatorial Internship Role Descriptions and Requirements Staff Member (Intern Site Supervisor): Dr. Cynthia Roznoy, Curator Program/ Department: Curatorial/Exhibitions Project/Role Description: Research and development related to current and upcoming exhibitions. Solid reading and writing skills and able to work unsupervised. Also, interns will be lifting tables, boxes, and other objects for events and office duties. Additional Information: This internship is best for an individual who loves art and history and is interested in non-profit management and fundraising.
