5:00 pm Orientation Session: Deerfoot Inn & Casino -Student Introductions -Students briefed on the event activities over the next few days. -Distribution of agenda, name tags, etc.

5:30 pm Student Program Ice Breaker Dinner in the Mohave Restaurant, Deerfoot Inn & Casino

Wednesday, July 9, 2014 ILC Beef 2014 Congress

7:00 am – 8:00 am Breakfast at the Congress 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Congress Plenary Session 5:00 pm on free evening

Thursday, July 10, 2014 ILC Student Tour of Northern Facilities (All day)

6:10 am Meet in the Hotel Lobby (front entrance). Boxed breakfast pick up.

6:20 am Students board bus at Deerfoot Inn & Casino front entrance Bus departs hotel.

7:30 am – 10:00 am Tour of Olds College, Olds, Alberta

10:45 am – 12:30 pm Tour of GrowSafe Systems Ltd., Airdrie, Alberta

12:30 pm – 1:30 pm Lunch at GrowSafe Systems Ltd.

2:45pm – 4:00 pm Namaka Farms – Feedlot Tour, Strathmore, Alberta

7:30 am - 9:30 am Tour and Presentation of Cargill Foods – High River, AB

9:45 am – 11:00 am Tour of Feedlot Health Management Service, Okotoks, AB

11:30 am – 12:30 pm Tour of Livestock Identification Services, Calgary, Alberta

12:30 pm – 1:00 pm Lunch at Livestock Identification Services.

1:30 pm Arrive Deerfoot Inn and Casino

2:00 pm – 4:30 pm ILC Student Forum, Deerfoot Inn & Casino.

Friday, July 11, 2014 Chuckwagon and Grandstand Show (evening)

5:00 pm Students board bus at Deerfoot Inn & Casino front entrance for Stampede Grounds

5:30 pm – 7:45 pm Free Time to grab dinner on your own and tour the Stampede Grounds

7:45 pm Chuckwagon Races start

10:00 pm Grandstand Show starts

12:30 am Bus departs Stampede Grounds back to Deerfoot Inn & Casino
