DECLARATION OF COMPANY SECURITY OFFICER
Part A Section 11 of the Code requires that each Company nominate a Company Security Officer(s). The responsibility of the Company Security Officer (CSO) includes ensuring that a Ship Security Assessment is carried out for each ship in the Company’s fleet, and that a ship specific security plan is developed, submitted for approval, and implemented and maintained. In addition the CSO must maintain liaison with port facility security officers, and the ship security officers.
