Regional Centre Co-ordinator Battersea / London Full time (35 hours) Salary £24,000 p.a.

REPORTING TO Regional Centre Manager

PLACE OF WORK Based at: Battersea Park Works across London region

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POST Reporting to the Regional Centre Manager, this post is part of the local management team with specific responsibility for the smooth operation and administration of the regional project. Leading the office and volunteer team to facilitate the delivery of Thrive programmes and meeting the needs of clients and funders. Working to achieve Thrive’s aims and objectives, to maximise the scope and breadth of services which improve lives. Pro-actively approaching revenue raising through social enterprise and corporate involvement.

Key responsibilities:

Management

 Work as an active part of the management team at Battersea, and as part of the wider Thrive management team  Take responsibility for the day to day running of the centre and facilities  Line manage the administration support team, undertaking supervision and reviews and identifying training needs. Supporting others with delegated line management responsibility  Provide enthusiastic leadership to the team  Provide support to the Senior Horticultural Therapist in operational planning to ensure delivery of all programmes  Provide support to the Regional Centre Manager in managing site health & safety; co-ordinate the monthly reports and accident and incident procedures, monitor and report actions identified / taken  Reconcile and record income and expenditure  Manage petty cash  Ensure that financial procedures are followed and that financial information is returned in line with Thrive’s deadlines  Manage the recording of annual leave and other absences

 Manage the referral routes and relationships to ensure a full complement of people engage on Thrive programmes  Liaise with fundraising team and senior staff with regard to planning new programmes and feasibility studies  Assist with the preparation of reports and monitor achievement against agreed quality standards, outputs and outcomes  Oversee the provision of a sufficient pool of volunteers to support all functions and events, ensure that induction and training is provided in accordance with Thrive policies  Oversee the work of the employment team and the maintenance of reports and tracking  Promote the use of Social and Therapeutic Horticulture

Revenue generation

 Ensure that opportunities for income generation are pursued  Take responsibility for maximising income and supporter numbers at events  Support the programme of corporate volunteering days  Support the development and implementation of retail business
