Two young boys, Justin and Chris (18 & 19 years old) telephoned the Miracle Valley Office a few days ago. They were in jail at Jessup, GA.

However, while they were in jail, they learned about the Lord and accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. Praise God, they got saved.

Somehow, they found a Charisma Magazine (Nov Issue) and read what God was doing at Miracle Valley. In reading the Miracle Valley Advertisement, God spoke to them to go to Miracle Valley.

These young boys want to enroll at Miracle Valley Bible College and become stronger in the Lord. Information is being mailed to them.

A Pentecostal missionary to South Korea writes, "I pray that I can be a helping hand in the 'great work' you are doing."

He arrives at Miracle Valley on January 13, 2005.

Dear Rev. Harter

Please let me introduce myself. I am an English professor at Inha University in Inchon South Korea. I served as missionary here with the A/G from 1978 to 1990. After my wife fell in love with an American soldier here and followed him to the USA, I stayed on in Korea and started teaching English at a university and have been here ever since. I remarried in 1993. My wife is a Korean deaf woman who is an ordained pastor in the Korean A/G.

I have been praying and searching over the internet for a couple of months asking God to lead to a place to go for R & R during the winter vacation here. Though I looked at several places via the internet, I never got an OK from the Lord about any place I saw. I received the November Issue of Charisma a couple of days ago and saw your advertisement requesting volunteers to come and help rebuild "the walls" of Miracle Valley.

I was touched by the challenge, the idea, and the boldness and courage of you and Sister Harter. I feel drawn there like a moth has some instinct to fly to a flame of light. The more I view your website and see photos, and read your life story and sense the fire of God in your soul. I feel sure that I should go for a month and help out.

I have $1000 I want to give to help buy the metal roofing for the tabernacle (or for whatever need you feel is greatest). I will fly to LA, and then on to Tucson on January 13th and should arrive at Miracle Valley on January 14th. I could not find any transportation information about any bus from Tucson to Bisbee. Could you give me some info about that, please?

I should tell you that I was born and raised a "Buckeye", like you, in Columbus, Ohio (actually in Grove City). My parents are buried in the cemetery at New Rome on route 40West. My sister lives in Grove City and my brother in Plain City. I graduated in 1960, and then attended Johnson Bible College (Campbellite-- Christian Churches) in Knoxville, Tennessee. I pastored churches in Virginia and Kentucky. In London, Kentucky I was filled with the Holy Ghost and became a Pentecostal, and subsequently got the "left foot of fellowship" from the Christian Church where I was pastoring.

I began fellowshipping with Holiness and A/G churches. We came to Korea in 1978 under the auspices of the A/G.

Well, that's enough about that. I want to come and help for one month if you'll have me. I can do most anything as a "handyman". I am not licensed in anything but "practiced in everything". Ha! I will work hard, follow orders well and serve humbly at any task. Since I am traveling from overseas, I can't bring a load of tools, etc. Please give me instructions about what I should bring. Other volunteers bought their own groceries, I believe.

Besides feeling led to come and help, I long for the Christian fellowship of Pentecostal believers (who speak English...). I want to have time to be alone with God and away from the masses here in Korea. I'm seeking direction for my life. I will be 61 years old on January 22nd, so I am only 4 years away from retirement age.

I look forward to coming and doing what I can. I long for Pentecostal worship and preaching which is pretty much nil over here. I have begun to pray about what you are doing there in that hallowed place and believe that God will touch me and direct me while there.

My request is like that of the few Greeks who came to worship and when they met Phillip, a disciple of the Lord, they exclaimed, "Sir, we would see Jesus".

Brother Harter, that's the longing of my soul.

Sincerely in Christ,

Brother D S
