TEXAS LONGHORN BREEDERS GULF COAST ASSOCIATION

Dear Texas Longhorn Exhibitors, Breeders and Friends,

The Texas Longhorn Breeders Gulf Coast Association (TLBGCA) invites you to participate in our annual World Qualifying Open and Youth Shows. The shows will be held on May 9th & 10th at Miracle Farm, outside of Brenham, TX. Miracle Farm is a new venue for this show; it is about 10 miles out of town (10802 Independence Way, Brenham, TX) but we think you will enjoy the country setting and the facility.

Sunday, May 10th, is Mother’s Day. What better way to celebrate motherhood than to spend it with your kids and family doing something the whole family enjoys? We are working on something special to honor all the mothers present during the weekend.

Since the new venue is several miles out of town, we will have a concessionaire on site throughout the weekend. We are also working on dinner for Saturday evening. We hope that these additions will allow you to spend more time enjoying your time with other exhibitors without having to worry about lunch and dinner plans.

As we have done for the past nine years, we will give away some calves that are donated by generous Texas Longhorn breeders. The drawing for the calves will be conducted during the youth show on Saturday. (If you are interested in donating a calf, please let me know and I can give you all the details.)

The schedule of events and entry forms are attached. Entries are due by 4/15/15.

The entry fees for this show are staying the same as they have been since at least 2005 (and maybe earlier), but while the fees have remained the same, the expenses continue to increase. If you would like to support the show financially, we have sponsorship opportunities available. Please contact me and we will discuss your desired level of sponsorship.
