HW #1 - 0794 - Due 1/27 0796 Due :1/26 Videos: (Approx 30 min) Watch the videos and write the identities on the HW page 1.4, handed out in class for notes. Take notes on the proofs also. Both notes and identities are required as part of the HW. Load Cerego onto your computer or smartphone. In "search" screen type in "trignometry." Scroll down and find "Trigonometric functions by Maynard Wellington." It has 2 items in it. Click on Learn. Then click on start. Learn these two facts about sin and cos. HW #2 - 0794 - Due 2/3 0796 Due : 2/2 Videos: (Approx 30 min) For each of the following videos take notes, write down the definitions, work out the problems along with the videos. Write the title of the video at the beginning of each of your notes. Turn these in with your HW.  Trig functions of acute angles (6:09)  Trig Proofs - incorrect assumptions L8 (5:40)  Trig Proofs - correct examples L9 (8:47) Cerego: (Approx 1 to 1.5 hours) (1) Find "Trigonometry by Kamal Handoo." Click on Learn and then Start. There are 5 items in this one. Learn them, and review the two from the previous HW. (2) Find "Trigonometry Flashcards by Mike Dentino." This one has 61 items. Try to learn the first 5- 10 items. You will continue working on these flashcards for the next HW also. If topics show up that we haven't covered, look them up. This will give you a headstart on understanding what we do next. (3) On your HW write down 2-3 flashcards that you are having trouble understanding. If you understand them, then write down 2-3 flashcards that you know well. Ask about the troublesome ones during class. Turn this in with the HW.  Trig ratios of complementary angles (2.1) (10:13)  Elevation and depression example problems with calc inst (11:02) Cerego: (Approx 1.5 hours) Continue with "Trig Flashcards by Mike Dentino" Learn at least 30 more of the cards. On your HW page, write down 3-4 new flashcards that you are either having trouble understanding or that you now have memorized. Ask about the troublesome ones during class.
