PLEASE BRING YOUR CHILDCARE PERCENTAGE WITH YOU & PROOF OF IMMUNISATION (Medicare Printout) NB: No Peanut Butter, Nutella or Nut Products please Ages: School children 4 – 12 years. Any child can attend Vacation Care but if we reach our maximum numbers for the day priority will be given to working parents, parents seeking work or studying. Times: 7.15am – 5.15pm. Cost: May only cost $8.10 per day including excursions (except where shown as extra). Most families are not required to pay the full cost of $43.50 which covers any attendance times during our opening times each day due to the percentage subsidy from Family Assistance Office. Before attending Vacation Care ensure you’re eligible for childcare & obtain your current percentage by phoning the FAO on 136150. Please bring this along to Vacation Care when booking in as well as Centrelink Nos for the parent/carer and children and immunization status. Payments: Should be paid in advance on the first day of attendance each week Attendance: Children may attend as many or as few days as required. Parents who do not work, study or have a family member with a disability may only be entitled to 24 hours (instead of 50 hours) of care each week at the reduced rate (ie 3 days). Extra days will be at full rates. DO NOT BRING – MOBILE TELEPHONES, IPODS, THONGS, TOYS, GAMES, CHEWING GUM, OR SWAP CARDS. If you need to contact your children during the day, please ring the Cottage on 0249711229 to pass on message. PLEASE BRING A DRINK BOTTLE THAT WE CAN REFILL DURING THE DAY – No cans of drink please. Where possible, provide food in reuseable containers & minimize wrappers & packaging as we care for our environment. REDUCE – REUSE – RECYCLE. Children must wear sensible shoes and hat – no thongs, scuffs or singlet tops please – shoulders must be covered. Shirts must be worn when swimming in outdoor pools to prevent sun burn. ~ Don’t forget to fill out suggestion book on desk with craft activities, feedback or ideas on excursions and new destinations to visit ~

Outdoor activities include cricket, soccer, basketball, handball, sandpit play.

PLEASE HELP – WE NEED: Clean household items for less financial people. Anything (including kitchen ware, books, knickknacks, toys, linen, craft items, beads, wool & material, clean clothes) you are not using anymore can be useful to someone else. We would love some art books or art/beads/craft materials. No box TVs or encyclopedias please. We give all items away free or for a donation. CROCHET Group - Every Friday from 9.30 – 12 noon. Cost of 80 cents covers tea and biscuits. From learners to experienced, come and join a friendly social group for company. TAX HELP From mid July until 31 October. A Free service is provided at the Cottage to complete your tax returns if you earn below $60,000. Contact Rhonda at the Cottage for an appointment. We are able to help fill out past tax returns even if you are years behind. PLAYGROUPS – Every Wednesday and Friday for babies and pre-schoolers of any age, at the Cottage from 10am – 12noon. Lots of games, toys and fun. Just turn up. For all the family. $2 BEADING CLASSES on Monday morning from 9.00 – 12 noon. $4 per class. PATCHWORK CLASSES each Wednesday and Thursday 9.30 – 12noon. Teacher Jenny Loss $10. JP SERVICE - Monday – Friday at Cottage CREATIVE WRITING GROUP for beginners onwards Fridays 1-3pm. AA GROUPS – Mixed Wednesday evening 6.00pm & Women In Recovery Saturdays at 2-4pm EMERGENCY RELIEF – If you or someone you know needs support or financial assistance, we provide Emergency Relief Vouchers including Coles Food and Meals on Wheels Vouchers, Opal Card Credit Top Ups, Chemist Script Voucher & Fuel Cards. Eligibility criteria apply including residential address. Please bring ID with address. Drop in basis on Tuesdays – Fridays ONLY from 10am til 3pm.
