Viewing Patient Information in UHCare
To access your patients’ records to view visit information: Select “Current List” to be My Discharged Patients_60 Days
OR you can search for a patient: Select Find Patient in the top toolbar:
Enter patient’s medical record number or name and then select Search Viewing Patient Information in UHCare
Click to highlight the patient and then click Show Visits
Double-click on the visit you wish to view:
To see Progress Notes, Consults, Discharge Profile & other documents, click the Documents tab:
Double-click on the document to view:

At UH Main Campus, CMC, the Discharge Profile will include the medication reconciliation on discharge and a short summary of the patient’s course. If the patient was at a UH Community Hospital, the Medication Reconciliation-Discharge will include the medication reconciliation.
To see the patient’s discharge instructions click on the Printer icon in the top toolbar.
You need to be on the Documents tab when you do this, or select the Report Category Documents If the patient was at the main campus select Discharge Instructions (UHCMC), if the patient was at a community hospital select Homegoing Instructions. Select PREVIEW to view the document.

You will be able to see the medications the patient went home on and other instructions:
You can preview other documents by clicking to highlight the document in the documents tab, clicking on the printer icon and selecting Selected Document Review-Selected Visit.

To print from UHCare notes to your office printer: If you have UH owned equipment, you will need to have the printer mapped to your PC. Printing from UHCare takes special steps—call the Help Desk to put in a request: 216-844-3347. If you have non-UH owned equipment, you can access UHCare through MyApps. All UH credentialed providers have access to MyApps. You will need to have a business agreement with UH in order to get the security rights to print.
