Part II: Guiding Research Questions

Before you can get started, the first step in your research process includes generating a list of questions relevant to your research topic. Task: Type a list of a minimum of 6 questions to guide you as you research your topic. Your questions list must be typed in the same format as the example below and turned in on:

Example: Topic: Teens and Self-esteem Guiding Research Questions 1. What is self-esteem? 2. Why do teens think they change from confident children to confused unmotivated adolescents? 3. What are the causes of low self-esteem? 4. How does peer pressure affect a person’s self-esteem? 5. What does society do to make teens feel less worthy? 6. What are strategies teens can use to help build their self-confidence?

As you are researching, please document where you found your information using the notecard format. Please follow MLA guidelines from the beginning to ensure your Works Cited page is written properly. (Easybib.com or bottom of SIRS articles.) You must collect notes from a minimum of 6 sources.

You will use 25 notecards total (approximately 3-5 cards per source).
