Role Profile

Job Title: Fundraising Project Manager Location: Award House, London Reports To: Senior Development Manager Direct Reports: None Appointment: Fixed Term until 31st March 2019.

Summary of Role

The purpose of this role is to manage the remainder of the 3 Anniversaries campaign and support the Senior Development Manager in the development of new fundraising initiatives, through researching the benefits of new ideas and proposals from across the network

Key Responsibilities  Management and support of the Anniversaries partnership with key stakeholders– including relationship management and administration, branding and sponsorship support, events management / coordination around the Anniversary project.  Coordination of events for campaign specific donor categories – Pearl Champions and 30 to 30 organisers, including final 3 Anniversaries celebration event in Feb/March 2019.

 Identify and shape event concepts from new and existing supporters as part of the 30 to 30 events series

 Work collaboratively with colleagues in the events team and donor care and recruitment, ensuring that all team members are aware of and contribute where possible to the 3 Anniversaries campaign.

 Compile reports for donors as required to ensure that funds given for the 3 Anniversaries campaign are justified in line with any restriction or designations stipulated by the donors/management.

 Support the Senior Development Manager in working with the Development Group to progress fundraising initiatives as required

 Support the Senior Development Manager to ensure project proposal benefits are analysed and evaluated, and communicated to internal and external stakeholders as required

 Research corporate entities who may wish to form partnering relationships. Support the Senior Development Manager in developing these relationships to enable successful applications for funding, one-off major gifts or Gift in Kind (GIK) donations, linked to the 3 Anniversaries and related future developments.

 Liaise with members of other departments internally to ensure understanding of the 3 Anniversaries. Actively integrate with project teams to understand how they may make best use of the opportunities provided by the campaign.

 Undertake any other duties as required for the successful delivery of Fundraising Department objectives.

Circumstances Fixed–term contract for 24 months. 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with some

flexibility required on or around the lead up to major events. Must be willing to travel on behalf of the Foundation, sometimes with overnight stays. Overtime is not payable, though hours worked over and above standard contract can be taken in lieu of payment (in line with policy)
