The First Polka Band to Perform at a Woodstock Festival s12

“The first polka band to perform at a Woodstock Festival!” FRITZ’S POLKA BAND www.fritzspolkaband.com “Sponsored by Jagermeister!”

June 10, 2006: Meadow Links Golf Course (wedding reception for Dan & Stephanie)---Richfield Springs, NY

Thus far in 2006, this has been the best gig! Horst and his family treated us with incredible hospitality!! This was the first wedding reception we’ve played at where the bridge & groom toasted Jagermeister instead of champagne. Hey, that’s the way all weddings should be! That being said, this reception crowd was the way all wedding reception gigs should be. Heck, this is the way ALL audiences ought to be!! We were honored to play for Dan & Stephanie, and make a lot of new friends. It was simply an awesome gig! At times, the audience was even louder than FPB. The way the audience screamed for an encore made us feel beyond incredible! YEAH!!! Here’s the list of tunes we did (check them closely, as there are quite a few rarities we did): 1st set 2nd set 3rd set 4th set Polish Wedding Beautiful Rose Waltz Alley Cat (requested) It’s Jager Time (requested) March (played as wedding party was introduced) Have I Told You I Left My Heart In San Wild Rover (requested) Kansas City Lately (for Dan & Francisco Stephanie) Sailor (for Spanish Eyes Old Time Rock And Roll Green, Green Grass Of father/daughter dance, Home mother/son, joined by wedding party) Give A Kiss Waltz Twist And Shout Bebopalula / Tutti Fruiti Happy Birthday (to Memphis Tequila Sunrise (requested) Rosemary) Happy Birthday (to Ed) For What It’s Worth Roll In My Sweet Baby’s Arms (requested) Tennessee Waltz All Along The Watchtower Happy Wanderer (requested) Beer Barrel Polka Knocking On Heaven’s I Can’t Help It (requested) (requested) Door In Heaven There Is No Pretty Woman Chime Bells (Tom & Gabe Beer duet) Help Me Make It Through Two Pina Coladas Mikey J’s Polka / Tony’s The Night (requested) Polka (button-box tunes) Stretch It Out Helena Polka (requested) Wonderful Tonight Alley Cat (played during Margaritaville (requested) Folsom Prison Blues bouquet/garter events) Chicken Dance / Hokey Encore: Just Because Pokey Polka Folsom Prison Blues (requested)
