100% attendance last week – Reception – well done!

SWIMMING GALA SUCCESS!

Well done to our swimming team:-

Anna Nikolakis, Joel Scott, Stephen Mercer, Alex Rae, Matthew Monks, Louise Wignall, Amy Birtles, Sam Palmer, Eve Bentley, Megan Ireland & Jacob Tattum.

We came 4th overall and Gold medals were won by Matthew Monks for boys’ backstroke and also by our freestyle relay team (Matthew, Megan, Jacob and Alex)

Thanks also to all the children who tried out for the team.

WIZARD OF OZ – our first night went very well – children will be ready for collection at 8.30 pm after each performance. We don’t charge for tickets but we ask for donations at the end of the performance if you feel you would like to donate. Year 6 children have chosen four charities to support:-

McMillan Nurses, Help the Homeless, Dr Barnados and Cancer Research.

BRASS TO PLAY IN ASSEMBLY – Monday 13 July at 9.15 am

Children who play brass instruments who are taught by Mrs Bartley will be performing in Monday’s assembly. Parents are welcome to listen. CRAZY BONES MISSING

30 + crazy bones have gone missing from Year 3. Please check if your child has taken them home by mistake.

LOST! - Harry Eady’s sweatshirt is missing. It is named and aged 9-10.

QUESTIONNAIRE RESPONSES – please return any questionnaires by Friday. We have had a good response so far (over 60) but would appreciate more feedback from parents of junior children.

DINNER MONEY

This Friday 10 July will be the last date to pay dinner money (we collect in advance for the following week, which is the last week of term). Please ensure that all dinner money is paid up to the end of term on this day. We need to balance our accounts before the end of term. Mrs Lormor will send money bags out on Thursday with up-to-date amounts on. Many thanks in anticipation of your help!

INFANT MILK

Letters have been sent out to all children in Reception and Year 1 for milk for next year. Please return the blue slips by Wednesday 15 July so that we can order milk for September.

REPORTS

Reports will be sent home to parents on Thursday. Year 6 will get their reports on Friday. SATs results will be included.
