Graphics 2 Career Research Paper

Purpose Graphic Arts is a small word encompassing an entire career cluster. There are as many job descriptions as there are people who hold them. The world of Graphic Arts holds many possibilities for jobs and careers. Right here in Central Wisconsin we have thousands of jobs that involve the world of Graphic Arts. You are going to find a career that intrigues you and complete the following report on this career. Follow the set guidelines for the report and you will be a smashing success.

Procedure Students will select a career in Graphics Arts.

Students will conduct research about the career they have chosen. This research is to include:

 Description of the field. This will be 2-3 paragraphs describing exactly what is involved in this career. What they do in this career and what they help to produce.

 Job prospects and expected salary ranges for different areas of the country

 College preparation needed. What courses would help in high school. Any sort of summer job that may also help to further college preparation.

 College or Universities that offer the degree needed to hold this career title. List the cost of the college (room and board) per year for both residents and non- residents.

 Personal Interview. You will call or email a person working in the career field that you chose. You will need to supply Mr. Streit with a list of questions you are going to ask. and conduct a personal interview with a professional who is working in the engineering field being researched.
