Vocabulary 21- Poem beat beauty beaver discover dive divide indeed inn inquire promise prove puff stuff stump stupid
A fine prince sat upon a stump Watching beavers play He dreamed of finding one true love A beauty to come his way He journeyed to the inn in town To inquire about a fair maiden He discovered that all the good ones were gone Their beauty seemed to be fading He packed his stuff and journeyed on Still searching for the promise of love He would prove himself indeed And find a princess as fair as a dove He found the lass he’d been searching for He knew he’d been struck by Cupid But there was a dragon he’d have to beat first (Even though it sounds kind of stupid) The dragon was puffing clouds of fire As the bold prince drew his sword He made a dive and then a swipe And blood from the dragon poured The prince rejoiced and smile with cheer As the walls began to divide He dashed to sweep away the maiden His dreamy princess bride.
