PRESBYTERY OF CHICAGO

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE FORM, "PASTORAL CALL"

1. Complete four forms.

2. State terms of call in detail.

Please note the option for the congregation to provide a three (3) month Clergy Renewal Leave in the seventh year. If agreed upon by clergy and congregation, please check appropriate line.

3. All four forms must be signed by: a. Representatives of the congregation b. Moderator of the congregational meeting c. Clergy accepting the call

4. Return all copies to the Associate Executive Presbyter for Ministry of the presbytery.

5. Following approval of the call at the Presbytery Assembly meeting, the Associate Executive Presbyter for Ministry will transmit all copies to Stated Clerk of the pastor-elect's presbytery.

6. Call forms are referred to Commission on Ministry of pastor-elect's presbytery for recommendation to presbytery.

Pastoral Call (For Pastor, Designated Pastor, Associate Pastor)
