This session will present an overview of the coverage process and use Medicare’s national coverage determination (NCD) review of Natrecor® (nesiritide) as a case study to illustrate key points. We will also discuss some of the recent trends in coverage, including the use of evidence-based medicine principles to set coverage policy.
