The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) is pleased to notify you that all rental and utility payments for the Housing Choice Voucher Program will be directly deposited into your checking or savings account at the financial institution of your choice in 2013. As an alternate option, you may choose to receive your payment on a Prepaid Debit Card. You must select one of these options by Friday, October 12, 2012.

MSHDA encourages you to have your payments paid directly to you via Direct Deposit. You only need to sign up once and all future payments will be deposited directly into your account. It is the secure and convenient way to get your payments.

Regardless of your selection, payments will be fast, easy and secure.

To avoid any interruption in your 2013 monthly payments:

You must complete the attached W-9 and Payee Authorization by October 12, 2012; Mail the completed documentation by using the prepaid envelope; MSHDA will set-up your account for Direct Deposit starting in 2013.
