Dear Parent/Guardian,

On Wednesday, December 14th Lincoln Avenue School will be presenting its annual Winter Concert in the LAS Gymnatorium. As a part of your student’s dance elective, he/she has been selected to dance in this concert. The following is the required dress code for the performance:

Girls  Black leggings or dance tights  Black leotard with short or long sleeves. Local stores that sell leotards include: o Sunny Shoes (near the $5 store) on Main Street, Orange o Kmart, Target, or Walmart usually carry children’s sizes.  Hair should be tightly secured away from the face, in a dance bun, BEFORE arriving at the school.  Students will dance barefoot.  Eye make-up will be provided the night of the show.  Please ensure that appropriate undergarments are worn and cannot be seen through the materials. Boys  Black dress pants or dance pants. A belt may be worn, if needed.  Black fitted t-shirt or dress shirt that is tucked in. (Nothing baggy please)  Students will dance barefoot. ALL STUDENTS:  Jewelry, hair accessories, etc. are not permitted. These items should be left at home or with a family member during the show.  Clothing should not have writing or designs on it. **Students that are not dressed properly will not be allowed to participate in the performance. Students that do not participate will need to complete an additional assignment to make up the performance grade for class.**
