Late fee after Aug 1 $25 – after Sept 1 $50 (After Sept 25 $75) Late fee day of event $100 All horses in futurity must stall. Stalls open 7 am Friday. THURSDAY ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. Entry fee $220 75% payback – 100% adm (stall fee/required $55/horse) processing fee $25/futurity entry. 75% payback – 100% adm. (2d format go rounds ONLY – 30% 1st go – 30% 2nd go and 40% to average) 2D (60/40%) full second split in go rounds AVERAGE IS STRAIGHT OPEN PAYBACK. Due to the cost of stalls for early arrivals (those wanting to come in Thurs) and adding an extra day to the event and travel time for contestants we have opted to NOT have the short-go format in 2009 as we did not want to have to increase our costs or yours, therefore a 2 go round format will be used regardless the number of entries. NO OUTSIDE SHAVINGS ALLOWED (per facility rules)– SHAVINGS OFFICE WILL BE OPEN FRI AM AND SAT (TIMES TBA). Electrical hookups collected by the facility (pay at the event).

Tentative Schedule and open arena times– 1st go round Sat 11:30 am and 2nd go round Sun 8 am (no short-go format will be used this year). Futurity horses will have open arena from 9:30 am – 12 noon Friday and again from 7 am – 8 am on Saturday and from 7-7:30 am and again following futurity and derby Sat night for 1 hour. Sun (barrels will be setup and no extra fee will be charged)

No vet releases doctor releases allowed. No substitution of horses. Failure to make nomination and mail registration papers by Aug 1, 2009 will result in late fee of $25. (see late fee schedule above) Jockeys may be subbed at any time with no additional fee. Horses must check in either Friday from 12:30-1:30 or Sat between 8:30-9:30 registration papers must be presented with horses for numbering and age verification. Any horse that is found NOT to meet age requirements will be disqualified. ALL horses MUST go through check-in. The riding time schedule above is tentative the finalized schedule will be posted online 1 week prior to the event. Dress code is long sleeved shirt and western boots (hats optional) no ball caps allowed. $10 fine for losing your hat in the arena. 3 call rule used and enforced. You MUST BE inside the pen during your drag (before gates are closed). Failure to pay camping or stalling fees is grounds or immediate DQ without refund. Horses may carry their time over to the Barrel Bash Sat & Sun. Barrel Bash entries for futurity carry overs will be taken in the show office until 9:30 am Sat. Carry over times MUST be declared by 9:30 am. (no late fee charged for futurity horses entering Barrel Bash and entering on site Sat/Sun) Please note the Barrel Bash pre-entry date is Sept 25. If you plan to run Fri (and not pay the late fee) you will need to make a pre-entry by Sept 25 for this event.

I understand that failure to pay camping or stalling fees is grounds for DQ with no refund. My horse has not competed in ANY barrel racing event prior to Dec 1, 2008 and was foaled 2004 or later and that no refunds will be given with or without a vet or doctor’s release at any point in time. No substitutions are allowed at this event. I understand that a rider sub may be made at any time with notification to the show office.
