Stop and Jot As we read the many books together we will be stopping to write important ideas that we learn about our community helpers.

If while we are reading you think of a question that you would like to learn more about, we will also write that on our chart so that we can try to find the answer as we research.

Remember….as a good reader when you have an idea or question when you are reading it is okay and encouraged for you to stop and write it down!

It is very important for us to keep track of where we found the ideas so that we can find that same information again when we need to.
