Training Coordinator Lakeland, FL Salary: 45K

JOB SUMMARY: Works closely with the Learning & Development Manager through planning, developing, and implementing primarily technical and process training for employees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: . Works closely with the Learning & Development Manager as an administrative support in the preparation of training programs for large events to external customers. . Assists in the preparation and delivery of technical training to new employees and small groups. . Assists the Learning & Development manager and other department staff through conference and meeting planning and preparing training materials. . Documents system functions and work flow processes for technical training. . Analyzes online course participation. . Maintains educational content on the organization’s external website and on the internal intranet site. . Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: . Associates degree required in related field; Bachelor degree preferred. . Two to four years of training experience required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: . Knowledge of training styles and preparing training materials. . Must be comfortable speaking to small groups of people and able to relay information in a way that’s easy to understand. . Preferred ability to setup and use audio and visual equipment (e. speakers, microphones, PowerPoint slide, etc.) . Strong leadership, problem solving, excellent verbal and writing communication and decision making skills . Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and project management skills including the ability to work against pressing deadlines. . Working knowledge of computer software including the Microsoft Office suite. . Ability to prioritize tasks and to work independently. . Experience with Articulate software preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: . The use of a computer and phone – Must be able to see, type, write, finger, grasp, and sit; must be able to use a mobile phone. . Communicating with internal and external customers – must be able to talk, hear, see, and comprehend. . Mobility of arms – Must be able to reach, and use arms to manipulate small objects. . Mobility inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machines, and supplies – must be able to move about the office space, stand for extended period of time, reach, bend, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds. . Travel required – up to 25%
