Specific Poster Guidelines: 1) Your poster should be made on regular computer paper measuring at 8 ½ ” X 11”. Mrs. Frost can provide you with paper once you submit your plan or rough sketch. 2) Your poster may be drawn using colored pencils, markers, paints, or crayons or it may be computer generated. 3) Your poster should include the following parts:

a) Title: Include the name of the body system, and your name. 1 point

b) Body System Picture: Have a picture of the whole body system (the whole 1 point skeleton, for example) or pictures of its parts (pictures of individual bones).

c) Body System function: Write a statement (from your notes) of the body 2 points system’s job(s).

d) Extra Facts: Include at least 5 extra facts not already in your notes about the 3 points body system that you chose. You will need to research for this information. Be sure to keep track of the source(s) you use.

e) Analogy Picture: Include a picture of some person, place, or thing that does the 1 point same job as the body system you chose.

f) Analogy Explanation: Neatly write or type an explanation describing why you 1 point think the object in your analogy illustration is like the body system you chose.

g) Sources: Keep track of authors, titles, volumes, pages, dates, and/or complete 1 point web site addresses, since you need all this information to cite your source.
