Sales Order (SO) and Packing List (PL)

ZOUNDSHearing Sales Order (SO) and Packing List (PL) Sales Orders and Packing Lists are the Auto Replenishments and Request Orders that are generated to ship to the stores. Packing Lists are sent in the shipments with the product. Below is an example of a Packing List (PL):

The only difference between a Packing List and a Sales Order is a Sales Order will show the price of each item, total for each line, and an overall total of the SO. See below:

There is a lot of information that can be shown on an SO/PL. The most confusing part about it is when there are items on there that are replacing or be sent back from RMA’s. Below is an example what it looks like:

Each item needs its own line to show which serial number of each item is being sent back or replaced. Below is a breakdown of what it means:

The customer name, if there is a customer name, along with the serial number sent to the QA department will show below the item being sent back to the store.

Some of these the items sent to QA will be tested as good or found that the claim was incorrect. If this is the case, the same item that was sent to QA will be sent back to the store with a ZOUNDS Hearing Internal Product Test form attached to the item. Below is the Test form: ZOUNDS Hearing Internal Product Test

This form will be filled out with the information provided to the QA department, what process the QA team took to test, and test results. Each item is verified by two people. When an item is sent back to the store, it will be shown on the SO/PL like a normal RMA (See first image). If it is a DOA, then the serial number and stock code of the item, test form, and SO/PL will match.

If it is an exchange, then the serial number and stock code of the item, test form, and SO/PL will match along with the customer name on the test form and the SO/PL. For example:

These need to match for Warehouse to send it back to the stores. If you see an item attached to the Test form, please look for it on the SO/PL. If there are other concerns, contact your Regional Director.
