Website Resources 1. Archives of the History of American Psychology: APA Archives (U. of Akron) founded by John Popplestone. 2. Encyclopedia of Psychology: Directory of biographies on many influential psychologists including Skinner, Maslow, Pavlov, Watson, Bandura, Adler, etc. 3. History of Psychology Archives: biographies and bibliographies created through Muskingum College. 4. Human Intelligence Map: created by psychology department at Indiana University, lists psychologists in chronological order. Biographies include influence and explanations of theories and achievements. 5. Psych.Net.UK: directory of biographies of famous psychologists and philosophers. 6. Psychology Biographies at ALLPSYCH: short biographies for many prominent figures in the history of psychology. 7. World of Biography: detailed biographies of famous psychologists organized in alpha order. 8. Yahoo Directory of Famous Psychologists: lists of biographical information on many prominent psychologists. Does list Wikipedia entries. For Wikipedia entries scroll down to external links and references for the most resources. The actual Wikipedia entry itself does not qualify as an academic source. 9. Social Psychology Network: use the search function in the middle of the web page, enter the name of the psychologist (example: “Albert Bandura”) and choose people entries. Look carefully there are a lot of Wikipedia entries as well as academic biographies.
10. Psychology Encyclopedia: power by J. Rank.org. Use search box to enter name of psychologist. Put the name in quotes to narrow the search to a specific person. ABC-CLIO Ebooks To open the books, remember to login to ABC-CLIO after you have clicked on the title of the book. Every book can be searched by keywords. MLA Citations for these books are already built into ABC-CLIO.
