The 2016 Queensland Oztag Junior State Cup will have 164 teams in 12 divisions competing to be State Champions over 2 ½ days at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Kawana. From this event Queensland teams will be selected based on their form shown over the course of the weekend to compete against New South Wales teams in a State of Origin format. Queensland selectors get the best seat in the house to witness some great action over the weekend.

Queensland Oztag selectors have the sole responsibility of selecting these teams. No interference from any coaches or players will be tolerated in the decision making process. Head Selectors will be chosen for all divisions. In the event of a stalemate the Head Selector will have the deciding vote.

Selectors/Referees BBQ (Saturday night, 6pm at the Stadium) . $50 travel subsidy for travelling selectors (does not include Sunshine Coast and Caboolture) . $60/night accommodation subsidy for travelling selectors (does not include Sunshine Coast and Caboolture)

Tour of Duty Tour of Duty shirts will be presented to the referees outlined below at the Referees/Selectors BBQ on Saturday night. This ranking is based on how many Tournaments a selector has attended.
