Dr. Rupal N. Shah is in obstetrician and gynaecologist based in Surat, Gujrat having keen interest in infertility work, including IVF.Since the completion of her education in1997, She been working with senior and renowned Obstetrician and Gynaecologist of south Gujrat- Dr. Malti P. Shah. They run a very well-equipped 25 bedded maternity and Gynec Women health Centre of excellence,which was established in 1971,having all advanced facilities in the heart of surat city called “Rupal Hospital For Women”, conducting 60 to 70 deliveries per month. She has a special interest in and regularly conducts painless delivery by epidural anaesthesia.

Dr. Rupal has specialized in all types of Endoscopic surgeries. Her hospital has one of the best set-ups of endoscopy with all state-of-the art instruments including Karl storz laparoscopic unit and harmonic scalpel. She perfoms all kinds of laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries including Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH).

As “Rupal Hospital For Women”. was the pioneer of fertility care and treatment in South Gujarat since 35 plus years, the passion to treat infertile couples is in the blood of Dr. Rupal. She has obtained Diploma inReproductive Medicine From Germany and has taken intense training in advanced infertility treatment at numerous workshops and conferences in USA and Europe.

At present Dr Rupal is an expert IVF specialist, and one of the managing directors of V very well reputed “Blossom Fertility and IVF Centre’ at Surat. Her IVF centre is one of the most advanced IVF centre of Gujarat ,having world-class success-rates and at present doing 1200 to 1500 IVF cycles per year.She is one of the very few IVF specialists who are specially interested in doing international and national surrogacy.

Dr. Rupal’s concern for public health education encourages her to conduct meetings related to health of teenage girls and menopausal problems to create health awarness in public. She has edited the book – “Nari Swasthaya Safar” written by Dr. Malti p. shah- which covers aricles related to women’s health from puberty to menopause in the local vernacular language Gujrati. She has written a book for her infertile patients–“Santan prapti no Anand” ,A comprehensicve guide covering details of all available infertility tratment ,which is very well appriciated by thye society and very soon it’s second edition ,in 4 languages is going to publish.

Apart from being a busy doctor, Dr Rupal is keenly interested in various art forms such as Gujarati literature,dance,and especially vocal music. She has had exposure to varied cultures and people through extensive travels within as well as outside india. AREA OF INTEREST

 Underwent basic training in ultrasonography and Operative Endoscopy at wadia Women’s hospital, Mumbai in 1998  Acquired advanced training in Diagnostic and Surgical Endoscopy under the guidance of the stalwart in the filed- Dr.P.G.Paul at Kochi, Kerala in 1998 and 2000  Attended and participated at various International,National and State Level Conferences and workshops related to Gynec Endoscopy,Urogynecology and Assisted Reproduction  Advanced infertility and IVF training at numerous workshops and conferences of USA and Europe.
