RECOMMENDATION:

That Council receive an oral presentation from the Police Chief regarding the Santa Barbara Police Department.

DISCUSSION:

As requested by the Mayor and City Council, Police Chief Lori Luhnow will provide an oral presentation to Council regarding the status of the Police Department and its operations. This presentation is part of a series of updates and will occur on a periodic basis. The following are some of the topics that will be covered:
