Work Experience: Homestar Mortgage, Loan Processor( Jun 2008-Oct 2009) Had daily face to face meetings with clients and vendors. Much of time spent communicating with all parties involved in real estate purchase transactions. Sent files to underwriting. Communicated with borrowers to obtain necessary items to get their loan approved through underwriting. Produced closing document packages, reconciled settlement statements and executed loan fundings. Managed Error and Omission reports for closed loan files and handled their resolution.

Day to day activities include clearing title issues and ordering Verification (i.e. Deposit, Mortgage) orders, packaging, and submitting files to online underwriters . Worked with in house underwriter on Correspondent loans to ensure they conform to lender guidelines; schedule closings with borrower/ title companies, manage loans derived from team of 12-15 loan officers, closed 20-25 first mortgages a month, on average. Maintain active pipeline of 40-60 loans, along with status updates to enhance management’s ability to see progress of all loans at a glance.

CTX Mortgage Company, LLC, Construction Loan Processor (April 2004-Dec. 04) Input new mortgage into processing software database. Calculate debt ratio, income based on credit report and verified documents provided by customer. Submit files to DU/LP for approval. Compiled all U/W stipulations to comply with U/W conditions. Order all due diligence including title, appraisal, flood, homeowners insurance, etc. Serve as sole contact for borrower during processing period (generally 45-60 days). Review construction contracts and specifications for accuracy. Coordinate closing dates between builder, lot seller, borrower, title company, and our closing department.

National City Corporation, Commercial Loan Processor, (Dec. 2001 – Sept. 2003) As CLP, spent much of my time ordering and reviewing appraisals, trusts, title commitments, flood reports, and partnership agreements. Discussed potential legal issues with legal department for quick resolution. Ensure collateral provides proper lendable equity for loan per U/W stipulations. Maintained contact with Bank Officers to advise them of problems and solutions to most efficiently close their loans. Responsible for tracking loan files from generation to completion.

Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Calyx Point, MSWord, Works, Access, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter, Desktop Originator, Freddie Mac Loan Prospector, and various loan processing software. Excel in high volume environment. Able to retain focus on many tasks at one time.
