WOW! Barack Obama, President-elect of the United States of America! The most frequently heard phrase on November 5th: “I never thought I would live to see this in my life-time”. To this I say, “Our God is an awesome God”! The Lord of Hosts, Jehovah Sabaoth, worked in such an awesome manner in the life of Hannah, giving to her a son of destiny. Samuel, son of Hannah and Elkanah priest and prophet, whose career forms the bridge connecting the judges with the establishment of the Davidie Kingdom. Now see this blessing through an excerpt of Hannah’s prophetic prayer: “The Lord killeth, and maketh alive; He bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. The Lord maketh poor, and maketh right; He bringeth low, and lifteth up. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifeth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory; for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and He hath set the world upon them” (1 Samuel 2:6-8).

Barak Obama, son of destiny, of whom we can say, “He has raised him from humble beginnings to place him in divine purpose.”
