Ariane Jacob performs in large French theaters: the Theatre du Chatelet, Radio France, Salle Cortot, room Molière in Lyon, Nice Acropolis ... and in many festivals: La Folle Journée de Nantes, the Festival of Auvers-sur-Oise, the Festival of Saint-Riquier ... and also in Germany, Spain, Japan, South Korea, the United States, Venezuela ... She has performed this season 2011/2012 at the Theatre des Champs-Elysees with the Chamber Orchestra of Paris and the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville with Barbara Hendricks.

Born in 1967 and trained at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Lyon, she won first prize in the piano class of Eric Heidsieck in 1989 and completed her training with Catherine Collard and Dominique Merlet. She graduated in International Piano Competition "Maria Canals" in Barcelona in 1999.

She and flutist Philippe Bernold have been highly praised for many years as duo performers. She also performs with Laurent Korcia, Doris Lamprecht, Julien Beaudiment, Hervé Joulain ... Ariane is also a world renowned soloist in her own right with the orchestra of the Capella Istropolitana.

Sensitive to the resonance of the text with music, she created and performed several readings-concerts with actors Didier Sandre, Irene Jacob, Andre Dussollier ... "The Little Prince", "Prévert, the beautiful Season," "Ondine and the Wildlife "...

Her chamber music recordings "Debussy" Harmonia Mundi and "Caprice" for Saphir Productions have been praised by the biggest names in the industry (ffff Telerama, **** World Music, appointing the Victoires de la Musique 2010). With the Orchestre de l'Opera National de Lyon under the direction of Kent Nagano, she also participated in several recordings including: Ariadne auf Naxos (piano solo), The Rake's Progress (solo harpsichord), Schoenberg, Reger: Music Room (Erato).
