Ridden Classes Not before 13.00pm Classes 13 – 16 are for true novices. Please enter in the spirit intended. 13. Green Ridden - walk and trot only. Horse/rider combination not to have won 3 firsts in any ridden showing discipline (No lead reins) 14. Novice combination Pony/ Horse. Horse/rider combination not to have won 3 firsts in any ridden showing discipline (No lead reins) 15. Novice combination Lead Rein & First Ridden Pony/rider combination not to have won 3 firsts in any ridden showing discipline. Lead Rein - Ponies not to exceed 128cm, to be shown in a snaffle bridle with the lead rein attached to the noseband. Riders not to have attained their 9th Birthday as of 01.01.2016. First Ridden - Ponies not to exceed 138cm. Any bit can be used but the severity will be taken into consideration by the judge. Riders not to have attained their 12th Birthday as of 01.01.2016 16. By attending the show you will automatically be bound by the rules of the show 2. The show accept absolutely no responsibility what so ever for death, personal injury caused by negligence of the organisers or any one whom they are in law responsible nor any agent employee or representative of these bodies will accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horse, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property what so ever whether caused by negligence, breech of contract or in any other way what so ever. 3. All dogs must be kept on a lead at ALL times 4. All riders ages are classed as of the first of January 5. All ridden horses and ponies to be four years and over 6. All horses and ponies must carry a valid passport and this may have to be produced upon request of the organisers 7. Under twelve’s are not allowed to wear spurs in ANY discipline 8. Excessive use of whips or spurs will result in the rider being escorted off of the showground, with no refund 9. No Whips are not to exceed 75cm (30ins) 10. No Entry Fee will be refunded once the entry has been made 11. All complaints are to be made in writing to the Secretary with a fee £10, within 10 minutes of the close of the class. 12. HATS: approved BHS headgear with chinstrap fastened at all times must be worn by all mounted riders and the competitors must enter the ring correctly attired for the desired discipline. 13. The decision of the judges or committee is FINAL 14. No entries taken once the class has commenced except in extreme circumstances 15. The committee reserve the right to refuse entry, amalgamate or cancel any class at their discretion 16. We may in our absolute discretion refuse to accept any entry, the entry will be returned along with any fee and no correspondence will be entered into with regard to the non-acceptance 17. We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to change the identity of the judge for any classes from the one previously announced 18. Foals must be at least 3 weeks old and accompany their dams at all times 19. Correct attire must be worn at all times. 20. All participants are reminded of the importance of safe conduct at all times and are advised to use protective clothing that satisfies the current standard, they also are reminded that they part take entirely at their own risk and are advised that it is essential to hold the appropriate insurance cover. Notice is hereby given that the Spring Eggstravaganza & organisers of this event accept no liability for any accident, damage, injury or illness to any Pony, Horse, rider, owner, leader, spectator, or any other person or property whatsoever. All riders must carry their own liability cover for horse and rider. 21. Running gags are NOT allowed. 22. Unsuitable bits will be at the JUDGES discretion. 23. Slanderous or liable comments made in person, online or on social media will not be tolerated.
