 GENERAL INFORMATION: In West Greenwich Village on parts of Commerce, Bedford & Barrow Streets, this “Fair within a Fair’ features easy set-up, excellent space fees, pleasant show environment & good sales. Our Juried American Crafts & Artwork Fair accepts only original or limited edition work made in U.S. No mass produced component parts, embellished commercial items, offset prints or kits allowed. Folks not accepted by jury are automatically booked- with preferred location- into YE OLDE VILLAGE FAIR (in its 34th year with 50,000+ walking traffic) which has a tremendous & loyal following.  HOW TO APPLY: BY MAIL ONLY  5-7 images proving technical facility: jpg preferred but any format (but actual samples) ok  Resuls: Email preferred. Mail require SASE with $.65 for returned images & acceptance kit  NYState Tax/resale number (*or date sent in plus your SS#: DON’T wait for resale number before applying) No NYC permits needed!  Application legibly completed  Administration fee (($20 up to 10’ wide, $23 spaces wider than 10’) + 2nd check for space &/or equipment rental. NO APPLICATION CONSIDERED WITHOUT FULL PAYMENT  Sharing space? Separate application & jurying required for each person (Noone may show without being juried & approved)  Write checks to BBC BLOCK ASSOC. but mail to APPEARANCES, 332 Bleecker, PMB-H44, NY, NY 10014-2980. If sent any other way than 1st class ie::UPS,FedEx, USPS Priority, or Certified, DHL etc., add $3 surcharge to application fee to reimburse for mail drop fee · Displays: No spaces assigned until advised if your display is: tabletop 31” high, -or- Vertical/over 31” –or- Tent.. Although image of your display helps, it is not required. · DEADLINE: Jurying begins 3/9 by gallery owners, educators & professionals within their specialties. After 3/9, work is juried as received IF there’s still space for that Craft/Art Medium in the show. Results returned starting 4/11. Show is aggressively balanced to enhance vendor sales. To avoid overbooking in any area, ‘Stand-By” status is assigned until enough other work is accepted. Rarely seen work actively sought (macramé, calligraphy, toys, rugs, desk accessories, pet supplies, sachets, men’s clothing & accessories, etc.) After 5/5, all payments must be cash, money order or certified check. One Administration fee per application BUT each craft area must be juried & accepted- or can’t be shown. BBC CRAFTS: CONTRACT & COMMUNITY #2 RULES: An application is a commitment to exhibit & to accept any space assigned. NO seconds, ‘Sale”, or unauthorized merchandise is permitted. Vendors should be licensed & collect NYS sales tax. Neither the Bedford-Barrow-Commerce Block Association nor Appearances are liable for failure to meet obligations due to things beyond our control (weather, acts of G-d or legal authorities, etc.) and cannot issue refunds under those circumstances. Nor are we responsible for loss/theft/damage to exhibitors’ wares. Rented table/chair to be returned in same condition as received, & if damaged, repair or replacement expenses to be paid. No unauthorized amplified music nor loud ‘hawking “ of goods allowed.

Community Board #2 Rules: No alcohol sold. No vendor can sell same goods as store behind them. (If this occurs, don’t set- up: alert us at once for immediate resolution.) Vendor use of trees/tree guards/buildings absolutely prohibited. No amplified music/speaker microphones. Please be sensitive to local residents and make no unnecessary noise, especially during set-up which begins at 9am- no sooner.
