 A residential burglary occurred in the 11900 block of Parklawn Drive, Rockville on Saturday, 9/1 at 5:20 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

Suspect: H/M, 18 yrs. old, 5’8”, 150-160 lbs; Suspect: W/M, 5’7”-5’8”, 170-180 lbs., blue baseball cap, white shirt, black shorts, carrying a black backpack.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 5200 block of Crossfield Court, North Bethesda on Thursday, 8/30 between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Unknown means of entry; nothing taken.

 Graffiti was painted on the hood of a vehicle in the 12500 block of Village Square Terrace, North Bethesda sometime between midnight and 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, 8/30.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 16100 block of Crabbs Branch Way, Derwood between Friday, 8/31 and Sunday, 9/2. Forced entry; property taken.

 A commercial burglary occurred at Shapers Salon & Spa, 15114 Frederick Road, Rockville between 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, 9/1 and 8:10 a.m. on Sunday, 9/2. Forced entry; property taken.

 A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 15500 block of Avery Road, Rockville on Monday, 8/27 at 3:36 a.m. Unlocked doors; shoes taken.

 Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the King Farm area of Rockville:

 Between Monday, 8/27 and Friday, 8/31 in the 500 block of Watkins Pond Boulevard. Took a GPS & charger.

 Between 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, 8/30 and 6:30 a.m. on Friday, 8/31 in the 100 block of Pasture Side Way. GPS taken.

B1 Beat:

 A commercial burglary occurred at Empire Wigs, 1532 Rockville Pike, Rockville between 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, 9/1 and 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, 9/2. Forced entry; unknown if anything was taken.

 A vehicle theft occurred at 5:47 p.m. on Friday, 8/31 at Micro Center, 1776 E. Jefferson Street, Rockville.

 A vehicle theft occurred at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, 8/30 in the 5900 block of Montrose Road, Rockville. The vehicle was taken from a garage; unknown if it was locked.

 A commercial burglary occurred at The Moby Dick House of Kabob, 14929 Shady Grove Road, Rockville between 11:08 p.m. on Saturday, 9/1 and 9:24 a.m. on Sunday, 9/2. Forced entry; property taken.

2nd District: 8/27/2012 to 9/4/2012

D1 Beat:

 An indecent exposure incident occurred in the 8300 block of 16th Street, Silver Spring on Saturday, 9/1 at approximately 10:00 p.m. The suspect exposed himself to the victim.

Suspect: W/M, 5’8”, heavy build.

D2 Beat:

 No significant activity to report.

D3 Beat:

 Four thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Friday, 8/31 to Saturday 9/1 in the 4400 block of Ambler Drive, Kensington. All the vehicles were unlocked; items left inside were removed. Property taken included a set of golf clubs, a GPS unit and vehicle registrations.

E1 Beat:

 Two thefts from vehicles occurred between midnight and 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, 8/30 in the Brookdale neighborhood of Bethesda. One vehicle had an unlocked door and one had forced entry. GPS units and iPods were reported missing.

 An aggravated assault occurred in the 11500 block of Rockville Pike, Rockville on Wednesday, 9/5 at 2:00 a.m.

 An aggravated assault occurred in the 5500 block of Tuckerman Lane, Rockville on Thursday, 8/30 at approximately 6:30 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.

 Three commercial burglaries occurred this week in North Bethesda:  At the Forrester Construction Company, 11426 Rockville Pike overnight from the evening of Tuesday, 8/28 to the morning of Wednesday, 8/29. Unknown entry; property was taken.  At Cygnus, 5640 Nicholson Lane sometime overnight from the evening of Tuesday, 8/28 to the morning of Wednesday, 8/29. Unknown entry; property was taken.  At White Flint Shoe Repair, 11301 Rockville Pike overnight from Wednesday, 8/29 to Thursday, 8/30. Forced entry; property taken.

3rd District: 8/27/2012 to 9/4/2012

G1 Beat:

 A robbery occurred in the 8400 block of Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring on Friday, 8/31 at 3:59 a.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Arrested: Male, age 24, of no fixed address.

 Four residential burglaries occurred in this Silver Spring beat:

 On Sunday, 9/2 at 1:15 a.m. in the 700 block of Sligo Avenue. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

 Between 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 8/28 and 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, 8/29 in the 700 block of Boundary Avenue. Unforced entry; property taken.

 A commercial burglary occurred at Palladian Partners, 8484 Georgia Avenue between 7:45 p.m. on Monday, 8/27 and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 8/28. Unknown means of entry; property taken.

G2 Beat:

 An aggravated assault occurred in the 2700 block of Evans Drive, Silver Spring on Tuesday, 8/28 at 8:03 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.

H1 Beat:

 Three armed robberies occurred in this Silver Spring beat.

 In the 8800 block of Piney Branch Road on Monday, 9/3 at 9:48 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property. Suspects: (2) B/M’s, 18 years of age, 5’6” to 5’8”, one wearing a black bandana, blue jeans; second suspect wore a black shirt and blue jeans.

 At University Boulevard E and Gilbert Street on Saturday, 9/1 at 12:15 a.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property. Suspects: B/M, 15-17 years, 5’6” to 5’8, 150-160lbs, white shirt and black jeans; B/M, 17-19 years, 5’8” to 5’10”, 260-265lbs, black shirt gray shorts.

 In the 9100 block of Piney Branch Road on Friday, 8/31 at 7:00 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property. Suspects: (2) B/Ms, age 15.

 An aggravated assault occurred in the 1000 block of Ruatan Street, Silver Spring on Sunday, 9/2 at 6:00 a.m. A press release was issued in regards to this incident.

Arrested: Male, age 20, from Hyattsville.

H2 Beat:

 A robbery occurred at Burnt Mills Elementary School, White Oak on Saturday, 9/1 at 6:44 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim and obtained property. Suspect: B/M, 20 years of age, 5’10, 180lbs, with dreadlocks.

 A robbery occurred at Montgomery Blair High School, Silver Spring on Friday, 8/31 at 9:06 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim and obtained property. Suspects: (3) B/M’s, 16-18, one having dreadlocks.

 On Wednesday, 8/29 at 2:08 p.m. in the 10600 block of Kinloch Road. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

I1 Beat:

 An attempted strong arm robbery occurred at a bus stop at Old Columbia Pike and Tree Top Lane, Burtonsville on Friday, 8/31 at 8:52 p.m. The suspects unsuccessfully threatened the victim with a weapon.

 A residential burglary occurred in the 11300 block of Columbia Pike, Burtonsville on Wednesday, 8/29 at 11:03 p.m. Unknown means of entry; unknown if anything was taken.

I2 Beat:

 A robbery occurred in the 14100 block of Castle Boulevard, Fairland on Tuesday, 9/4 at 3:31 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim and removed property.

J1 Beat:

 A residential burglary occurred in the 14400 block of Morton Hall Road, Silver Spring between Wednesday, 8/29 and Monday, 9/3. No sign of forced entry; property taken.

J2 Beat

 A theft and aggravated assault occurred in the 18100 block of Prince Phillip Drive, Olney on Wednesday, 8/29 at 8:35 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victims and were arrested.

Arrested: Male, age 23, from Washington, DC; Male, age 18, address unknown; Male, age 24, from Washington, DC.

 A strong-arm robbery occurred in the parking lot of the 7-11, 11441 Amherst Avenue, Silver Spring on Saturday, 9/1 at 4:00 a.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.

 An armed robbery occurred in the parking lot of the Sun Trust bank, 2610 University Boulevard West, Wheaton on Friday, 8/31 at 10:15 a.m. The suspect assaulted the victim, threatened to use a weapon and obtained property.

 A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 11100 block of Georgia Avenue, Wheaton on Friday, 8/31 at 1:15 a.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Suspect: black male, 18-22, medium height and weight, short hair.

 A commercial burglary occurred at the B.L.T. store at Wheaton Mall, Wheaton overnight from 9:30 p.m. on Monday, 8/27 to the early morning hours on Tuesday, 8/28. Forced entry; property taken.

 Six thefts from vehicles occurred in the Kentlands area of Gaithersburg overnight between Thursday 8/30 and Friday 8/31. Two thirds of the vehicles were on Chevy Chase Street. All vehicles were unlocked and loose items left inside (coins, iPods, sunglasses, etc.) were stolen.

 A sex assault occurred on West Diamond Avenue near I270 in Gaithersburg on Saturday 9/1 around 10:30 pm. The suspect inappropriately touched the victim.
