A MINI NEWSLETTER FROM CENTRAL OHIO AORN AUGUST 2005

INTRODUCTION: My name is Annette Svagerko and I am your newsletter Chairperson for the 2005-2006 "season". I am a novice to this task, and am sending this Mini Newsletter to give you some highlights of the upcoming year while I hone my skills to print a Real Newsletter! You have already missed out on several planning meetings, but it is not too late to get involved. Just call me--I'd love to find a special niche for you in our organization. We are mixing it up this year with different days, different times, different meeting places and excitingly different offerings! In an effort to continue timely communication with the membership, while controlling costs and conserving resources, the Newsletter of the Central Ohio Chapter of AORN will be distributed in two ways. It will be available by email/internet OR via the US Postal Service.

It has been my observation that more work is being accomplished in a more rapid and time effective manner with the use of email and the internet. The Newsletter is available on our website at http://www.centralohioaorn.com. It will also be sent to the membership via email.

I am sensitive to the fact that some persons do not have access to email and/or the internet. For this reason, I am asking for a rapid response to this request. The sooner I receive your response and am able to tally the information, the sooner I can move forward with the mailings. This is all being done to serve you and your needs more efficiently. In addition to the Newsletter, I would be able to keep you abreast of important events more rapidly via email. I urge you to consider this matter, and respond by August 8th.

If you are able to receive your Newsletter via email, please reply to this email and confirm your name and email address. If you are unable to use email for your Newsletter, please send your name and address to me at the address below or call me at 614-898-0576. If I do not hear from you, I will attempt to reach you by snail mail or telephone. I welcome any constructive comments you may have to improve our service to you.
