2.2 Recommend approval for Girls on the Run to use outdoor spaces (weather permitting) and indoor spaces in inclement weather at all three (3) elementary buildings, starting no earlier than the end of the school day, beginning on September 1, 2017 and ending on June 1, 2018. (donated – no charge).

3.4 Recommend approval for athletes and coaches to attend 2017-2018 PIAA post- season events when athletes qualify for advancement which may include travel in excess of 75 miles one-way and/or overnight stays.

4.3 Recommend approval for Education Tours for employees and students when students qualify for regional, state or national advancement, which may include travel in excess of 75 miles one-way and/or overnight stays.

5.1 Recommend approval for the attached list of Support Substitutes for the 2017-2018 school year, for all categories unless otherwise indicated, on an as needed basis at the designated hourly rate, pending required clearances, the results of a TB test and successful completion of the local assessment for highly qualified instructional aides, where applicable. (Attachment 5.1)
5.2 Recommend approval for the attached list of Professional Staff Substitutes for the 2017-2018 school year, on an as needed basis, at the rate of $125.00 per day, pending appropriate certification, required clearances and the results of a TB test. (Attachment 5.2)
5.3 Recommend approval for the attached list of Guest Teachers for the 2017-2018 school year, on an as needed basis, as part of the CSIU Guest Teacher Consortium, at the rate of $125.00 per day, pending appropriate certification, required clearances and the results of a TB test prior to serving in the school district. 5.5 Recommend approval of the following Professional Staff resignations: 5.5.1 Laura Barondeau, Learning Support Teacher at the Senior High School, effective July 20, 2017. Ms. Barondeau has worked for the district for one (1) year. 5.5.2 Emily Higgins from 7th Grade English/Language Arts Teacher at the Middle School effective August 8, 2017. Mrs. Higgins has worked for the district for nine (9) years. 5.5.3 Dustin Manotti, 4th Grade Teacher at Montandon Elementary School, effective August 8, 2017. Mr. Manotti has worked for the district for two (2) years.
5.6 Recommend approval of the following Support Staff resignations/retirements: 5.6.1 Kelly Newcomer, Special Education Aide at the Senior High School effective August 8, 2017. Mrs. Newcomer has worked for the district for two (2) years.
5.7 Recommend approval for the following Professional Staff transfers, effective July 1, 2017: 5.7.1 Jennifer Bowman from K-12 Instruction Coach to Learning Support Teacher at the Senior High School. 5.7.2 Donna Spear from Technology Coach to K-12 Instructional Coach at All Buildings. 5.7.3 Katelyn Tourigian from Autistic Support Teacher at the Middle School to 3rd Grade at White Deer Elementary School.
5.8 Recommend approval for the following Support Staff employee(s), pending required clearances and the results of a TB test and drug screening: 5.8.1 Tanya-bea Kemper, Special Education Aide – Life Skills at White Deer Elementary School, at the rate of $10.00 with benefits as stated in the Classified Employee Handbook, effective August 23, 2017.
