Platform Switch Prosthetics Line from BEGO Implant Systems

Following the successful launch of the innovative BEGO Semados® RS/RSX implants, the platform switch system concept is now being transferred to prosthetics. As of summer 2014, a new prosthodontic line, "PS-Line", specially developed for the creation of highly aesthetic implantological restorations, will be available to users.

The platform switch concept has been established on the implant market for many years already and has become one of the most recognised treatment methods for preserving the crestal bone. Moreover, an aesthetic emergence profile can be achieved through the use of diameter-optimised and anatomically adapted abutments. The efficient interplay between the bionic microgrooves on the BEGO Semados® RS/RSX implant for which a patent is pending (not yet published) and the reduced-diameter PS-Line abutments creates an ideal basis for long-term hard and soft-tissue results. Stress peaks in the implant are moved to the centre of the implant which, in turn, serves to protect the crestal, peri-implant bone.
